The TKRP Mentorship Program is the first step to undertaking the TKRP methodology in recording and applying traditional knowledge.

The program is often seen as an introductory stage for communities to undertake further development of their own initiatives and goals.

TKRP are required to do presentations at conferences and also to communities interested in the methodology. 

Presentations are a great way for Elders and community to understand the project and how it can relate to their own aspirations.  

TKRP provides services and support around traditional land management and research projects. 

The aspirations around re-implementing traditional management regimes, is to demonstrate the value of traditional knowledge for environmental best practice, to benefit community wellbeing. 

TKRP provides services and support around the development of films, documentaries and other digital arts productions. 

The aspirations around developing film and multi media presentations is to create more awareness around the values and potential of Traditional Knowledge for mainstream opportunities. 
     

We are seeking to create a sustainable indigenous enterprise by developing TKRP training, environmental projects, product development and marketing.  This initiative is designed to develop a structure that will inspire community based aspirations and outcomes.
